Salted Caramel and Tropical Prosecco

Summer is officially in full swing and as much as I’d like to be outside 24/7, neither my job nor fair skin allow this. Luckily the AC blasts directly into the kitchen at my house, extra incentive to whip up a batch of Salted Caramel Cupcakes. The Prosecco obviously, was enjoyed outside πŸ™‚

I love anything with salt in it and was super stoked when salty chocolates and sweets became popular. My only adjustment to this recipe moving forward is that I’d use natural sea salt, to kick up the flavor a notch. Nonetheless, I did step my game up and purchased a piping bag. I’m having visions of massive improvement in my frosting skills for the future.

Lunetta Prosecco

Cavit Lunetta Prosecco is a great, budget sparkling wine. It hails from the Trentino region of Northeast Italy. If you like bubbles in your bubbly, this one’s for you. It’s on the sweeter side and the bubbles last forever. The finish is extremely short but the tropical fruits that I tasted in the Prosecco really complemented the salty pop of the cupcakes. Two thumbs up if you’re looking for an option in the $10-$15 range.

Now it’s time to enjoy the sun πŸ™‚ Have a wonderful Fourth and relaxing weekend!

Cheers,
Jenna
